Welcome to the Nipissing District Child Care Waitlist Registry

The Child Care Waitlist Registry is designed to make it easier for families to find and apply for licensed child care in the Nipissing District.  By submitting one centralized application, you can place your child’s name on the list for any of the licensed child care programs (home and/or centre-based) or authorized recreation programs in our district that best  meet the needs of your child and family.

To complete an application, click on ‘Create an Account’ above.  To make changes to an existing account, click ‘Log In’.

Waitlist Management

Please note that each child care provider manages their own admission and wait list policies.  You can contact the child care providers individually to check your child’s status/placement on their list.

** Age Groups** – when you select a child care centre, you will only see the age group that your child is eligible for based on your preferred start date.  If your child changes age groups (e.g. moves from infant age to toddler age) before they receive a child care space, the system will automatically move them up to the correct group and will maintain their priority on the list.  However, when your child will be starting school and will need before-school, after-school, and/or PD day care, you will need to add your child’s name to those lists directly.  In order to do so, you will need to add an application with a preferred start date for when your child will be starting school.
